We are seeking a skilled and versatile Assistant Restaurant Bar and General Manager to join our dynamic team at Harbor Town Tavern, a member of the Benchmark Restaurant Group! In this role, you will provide essential support to both the restaurant bar and general management, ensuring smooth operations, exceptional service, and a positive guest experience.

Responsibilities:
Assist in overseeing all aspects of bar operations, including inventory management, ordering, and stock control.
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure efficient coordination between food and beverage service.
Supervise and train bar staff, providing guidance, coaching, and support to maintain excellent customer service standards.
Help create and implement beverage menus, considering current trends, customer preferences, and profitability.
Assist in organizing and promoting special events, themed nights, and promotions to drive customer engagement and increase sales.
Monitor sales, analyze trends, and provide recommendations for improving revenue and customer satisfaction.
Support the General Manager in overall restaurant management, including staff scheduling, training, and performance evaluations.
Help ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Handle customer complaints and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
Conduct regular inventory checks and assist in maintaining accurate records.
Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for guests and staff.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role in the hospitality industry, preferably in a high-volume restaurant or bar setting.
Strong knowledge of bar operations, mixology, and beverage preparation.
Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask and prioritize effectively.
Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to interact with staff, customers, and suppliers.
Proficiency in using point-of-sale (POS) software and other relevant industry technology.
Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
Knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations and licensing requirements.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
